Meet the Guides:

Ryan Thompson
Owner & Head Guide, specializing in Michigan angling, instruction, and destination travel.  Born and raised in the Great State of Michigan, Ryan has enjoyed the outdoors his entire life. Right after graduating from Western Michigan University he developed an interest in fly-fishing. The majority of his free time quickly became consumed with fishing and tying.  He currently resides in Grand Blanc and Traverse City, Michigan with his wife Neely and 2 sons. He occasionally gets to put the rod down and pic up the camera or go pro.  Logging 150+ days a year on the water annually, Ryan has developed a vast knowledge of Midwestern waters and beyond.

Josh & Justin Park
This team of brothers love the outdoors.  Wither hunting, camping, fishing, or riding ATV’s these guys love to be outdoors.   In the early 2000′s they taught themselves to fly fish for trout on the North Branch and  “Holy Waters” of the AuSable River. After a few seasons and more exploring, they found themselves on the trophy waters below Mio where they learned modern streamer techniques chasing big browns.  They have spent uncountable hours finding any and every water that he could fish with a fly from the small creeks and rivers for Trout, Salmon and Steelhead; Lakes for Bass and Pike.

Jeremy Piper
Piper has been fishing since birth.  Having an affinity for stubborn fish, he fishes year round.  The aquatic insect hatches in Northern Michigan keep him occupied Spring and Summer.  Along with stream trout and steelhead, he also enjoys the Great Lakes beaches for lake run trout, carp on the flats, blitzing smallmouth, Salmon and Steelhead fishing on the St. Marys, and just about anything that can be taken on the fly.  He recently has become the team expert on the apex predator the Northern Pike.  Always looking for new techniques to learn and challenge himself, Piper is constantly in the H20 with a snorkel in his mouth.

Adam Haffajee
Adam is an expert on warm water fisheries and regularly demonstrates his skill.  He is on the water more days then not, no matter what the weather conditions.  Besides being a master with hard and soft tackle, he has honed his ice fishing skills over the years.  While the rest of us are inside during some harsh winter months, not Adam.  You will find him out on the frozen water.
